A focused checklist so your next generate and import stay clean. Part 236 of the practical series.

The same workflow works in Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. Only the decoration list and hideout types change when you switch games on the generator.

Part 236 focus

This part of the series is a practical pass you can run in one sitting. Small passes beat giant redesigns. Keep the hideout fast to use and let the picture do the flexing.

  1. Check the source image for silhouette background and outline thickness
  2. Generate a free preview at a moderate art size
  3. Confirm decoration count against your plan and the 750 cap
  4. Export a backup then import only when the preview still reads
  5. Place the art where visitors already look and leave stash paths clear

What to verify before you stop

  • Hideout type matches the file
  • Missing decorations unlocked or shop pieces disabled on purpose
  • Art size high enough for faces or text you care about
  • Walking room to waypoint stash and crafting still intact
  • A second backup kept for the previous layout

Why series passes work

Trying to rebuild the whole hideout in one night usually ends with a blocked map device and a missing outline. One focused pass per session keeps the room usable and the art sharper. Use unlimited previews. Download only when the before and after look right.
